Amazon Milk Frog

The Amazon Milk Frog (Trachycephalus resinifictrix) takes its name from the sticky white substance secreted through it when they feel threatened to protect itself against predators when threatened. This large, arboreal frog loves to spend time in trees and other plants and its Latin name, Trachycephalus, refers to its long snouts used for pushing aside leaves and branches allowing them to hide during the day. The lifespan of the Amazon Milk Frog is up to 10 years.

White's Tree Frog

The White’s Tree Frog (Litoria caerulea) is often called a “dumpy frog.” Native to Australia – with well-established populations in Florida (USA), this arboreal amphibian can be found near or next to the water, usually amidst eucalyptus trees but they're not afraid of going into residential areas either! White’s Tree frogs are often found hunting for food attracted to the light, such as moths, flies, and other insects and their lifespan is 10-15 years.

Red- Eyed Tree Frog

The Red-Eyed Tree Frog is a beautiful, bright arboreal species that is native to rainforest areas of Central and South America. It has an intense green body with blue, white, and yellow stripes with orange feet and toes. Their remarkable red eyes are another unique feature that makes this animal stand out from other brightly coloured amphibians you might find. The Red-Eyed Tree Frog produces a skin toxin that has a bad taste to deter some predators.

Green Tree Frog

The American Green Tree Frog is a species of arboreal frog that is native to the United States. These frogs are typically green in colour, but they can also be light grey or light brown. The colour of the frog depends on the temperature, lighting conditions, and mating season. The frogs have a distinct line running from the end of their top lip down to their back legs. This line is usually white, like the underside of the frog. The frogs are found in Maryland, Florida, Texas, Delaware, and New Jersey.

Horned Frog

The Argentinian Horned Frog, also known as an Ornate Pac-man Frog, is a native of various regions across South America. Horned Frogs are terrestrial species that spend their time sitting still, waiting for prey to pass by. These frogs come in a variety of colours, from greens and browns to strawberry and albino. Regardless of colouration, they are all unique and interesting creatures that make for enjoyable pets.
